PUS — or “somatic cells” — are the result of infection in dairy cows. These infections are caused by unsanitary dairy operating conditions that lead to infected mammary glands of cows. Pus cells are the same type of cells found in a pimple or “zit juice.” In 2011, the dairy industry debated lowering the allowable level of pus cells (somatic cells) to just 450,000 per ml, but it chose to keep the levels at 750,000, allowing for more infections and more pus in the pasteurized milk sold at grocery stores everywhere.

The Consumer Wellness Center (www.ConsumerWellness.org) has calculated that a typical “milk moustache” may contain as many as 2 million pus cells, meaning that all the celebrities, movie stars and sports stars who allow their images to be used by the processed dairy industry are quite literally showing their faces smeared with pus from dairy cow infections.

A look at the dairy industry, without the marketing spin

This non-commercial video, which also features undercover footage showing the brutal treatment of cows in factory-like conditions, is intended to shed light on the unsanitary practices of the conventional (pasteurized) dairy industry while contrasting that with the substantially cleaner and more humane practices of certified organic RAW dairy producers.

Dairy industry promotes fraudulent health claims

As this video shows, the conventional dairy industry is also making fraudulent health claims in its “got milk” ads, including falsely stating that drinking milk will give you “bones of steel.” A multitude of variations on this theme frequently appear in dairy industry ads.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, such claims automatically turn milk into an “unapproved drug,” meaning the FDA should now conduct armed raids of all conventional dairy producers, seize their inventory, and arrest their owners and operators to be charged with felony crimes for selling unapproved drugs. At least that’s how the FDA treats any other nutritional product that makes such strong claims of granting the human body near-magical health benefits. Try to sell an herbal product making the exact same claims and you’ll quickly find yourself threatened with arrest by the FTC or FDA. In fact, pasteurized dead milk has never been approved by the FDA as a treatment for fragile bones, so there is no legal basis under current FDA regulations by which the dairy industry could make a claim that drinking milk will increase your bone strength to the tensile strength of steel. Yet, to no one’s surprise, both the FDA and the FTC take no action whatsoever against the dairy industry for making these fraudulent health claims and selling what the FDA typically calls “unapproved drugs.”

In truth, calcium alone does not build strong bones, and pasteurized milk is not even the best source of calcium. The pasteurization of milk destroys its digestive enzymes such as lactase, causing the milk to be far more allergenic and difficult to digest, which may explain why so many people suffer from lactose intolerance, digestive disorders, sinus congestion and acne when consuming pasteurized milk products.

“I thought I was gonna die in there…”

• How James was subjected to severe food deprivation.

• How he was interrogated by deputies and accused of being a “sovereign,” then branded with a red arm band (Nazi-style) to falsely indicate that he was a danger to the general population.

LA County jail guards then ordered James to clean up all the raw sewage in his cell by handing him a small hand-held squeegee and demanding that he squeegee out all the raw sewage himself (which he reluctantly did).

• He was then forced to stay in the putrid raw sewage cell for over 30 hours, fighting off nausea and living in bacteriological filth that threatened his health.

• All along, the LA County prison guards gloated over their treatment of prisoners while laughing and joking about their power to subject prisoners to such abuse. This behavior openly mimics that of Gitmo guards who took pictures gloating over their torture and murder of prisoners of war.

• During this entire process, James was not allowed a single phone call nor any visit from an attorney. His right to speak to an attorney was repeatedly denied.

• At no point was James notified of what he was being charged with. He was never presented with an arrest warrant nor were any charges explained to him.

• James was mysteriously “lost” in the system and LA County officials claimed they did not know where he was. This was apparently a deliberate attempt to subject an individual to drawn-out torture without legal representation and make sure no one could locate them to check on their health or arrest status.

What we are witnessing here is a gross violation of civil rights and human rights, not to mention fundamental due process. The treatment unleashed upon James was not merely against the law in California, it was also a violation of federal law and a violation of the Geneva Convention and its ban on torturing prisoners of war.

It has been nearly a month since the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) swooped in like vultures on Organic Pastures Dairy in Fresno, Calif., and demanded that the farm recall and stop selling all of its raw milk products immediately and indefinitely. Five children in four nearby counties had developed E. Coli, and officials automatically blamed it on the farm’s raw milk without so much as a shred of evidence proving this to be true. Nearly a month later, the state’s own tests have now determined that Organic Pastures raw milk was not the culprit.


USA Today reported back on November 20, 2011, that the five children were all infected with the O157:H7 strain of E. Coli, which is believed to be contracted through food that has been contaminated with tainted fecal matter. Since all of the children’s families had allegedly purchased Organic Pastures raw milk at some point, authorities automatically blamed those products for the outbreak, and immediately ordered a full recall and quarantine of every product the company produces.

This unsubstantiated, knee-jerk reaction on behalf of the State of California is hardly surprising, as both it and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have been on a crusade to destroy raw milk for decades. But what might be surprising to some is how easily these government agencies were able to target Organic Pastures without first providing a single, credible piece of evidence linking the dairy’s milk to the outbreak.

Organic Pastures employs a rigorous food safety protocol called “RAMP” (Risk Analysis & Management Program) that “voluntarily goes far beyond what is required by the CA DHS (California Department of Health Services), USDA (US Department of Agriculture), FDA or CDFA to assure that [their] raw milk is delicious and very safe.” If you review the document outlining the dairy’s step-by-step safety process for yourself, you will see that it is near-impossible for Organic Pastures dairy products to become tainted with E. Coli, let alone make it out the door to customers if it somehow ever does (http://www.organicpastures.com/pdfs…).

But none of this matters to state regulators, which arbitrarily and immediately shut down Organic Pastures dairy before even testing the milk and verifying whether or not it was tainted. So for nearly a month now, Organic Pastures has had to sit and wait for these tests, which should have been conducted before any type of recall or quarantine, to be conducted — and all results, of course, have turned up negative for E. Government assault against Organic Pastures an act of domestic terrorism

The government’s reactionary approach to “food safety” issues involving raw milk are neither scientific nor rational. One would think that, in order to declare a food product unsafe, it might be a good idea to test it first. But when raw milk is involved, regulators always assume the worst, which typically results in a bout of hysterical and overbearing tyranny against the parties involved.

What the CDFA has done to Organic Pastures is nothing short of domestic terrorism. There was never any evidence that Organic Pastures milk products were in any way unsafe or tainted, and yet authorities appear to be doing everything in their power to keep the company from resuming production, which could eventually put it out of business.

“This is yet another example of the government engaging in outrageous acts of economic terrorism against farmers and food producers,” commented Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, on the matter.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) continues to release new data showing that various milk and water supply samples from across the US are testing increasingly high for radioactive elements such as Iodine-131, Cesium-134, and Cesium-137, all of which are being emitted from the ongoing Fukushima Daiichia nuclear fallout. As of April 10, 2011, 23 US water supplies have tested positive for radioactive Iodine-131 (http://opendata.socrata.com/w/4ig7-…), and worst of all, milk samples from at least three US locations have tested positive for Iodine-131 at levels exceeding EPA maximum containment levels(MCL) (http://opendata.socrata.com/w/pkfj-…).

As far as the water supplies are concerned, it is important to note that the EPA isonlytesting for radioactive Iodine-131. There are no readings or data available for cesium, uranium, or plutonium — all of which are being continuously emitted from Fukushima, as far as we know — even though these elements are all much more deadly than Iodine-131. Even so, the following water supplies have thus far tested positive for Iodine-131, with the dates they were collected in parenthesis to the right:

Again, these figures donotinclude the other radioactive elements being spread by Fukushima, so there is no telling what theactualcumulative radiation levels really were in these samples. The figures were also takentwo weeks ago, and were only just recently reported. If current samples were taken at even more cities, and if the tests conducted included the many other radioactive elements besides Iodine-131, actual contamination levels would likely be frighteningly higher.

But in typical government fashion, the EPAstillinsists that everything is just fine, even though an increasing amount of US water supplies are turning up positive for even just the radioactive elements for which the agency is testing — and these levels seem to be increasing as a direct result of the situation at the Fukushima plant, which continues to worsen with no end in sight (http://www.naturalnews.com/032035_F…).

Water may be the least of our problems, however. New EPA data just released on Sunday shows that at least three different milk samples — all from different parts of the US — have tested positive for radioactive Iodine-131 at levels that exceed the EPA maximum thresholds for safety, which is currently set at 3.0 pico Curies per Liter (pCi/l).

In Phoenix, Ariz., a milk sample taken on March 28, 2011, tested at 3.2 pCi/l. In Little Rock, Ark., a milk sample taken on March 30, 2011, tested at 8.9 pCi/l, which is almostthree times the EPA limit. And in Hilo, Hawaii, a milk sample collected on April 4, 2011, tested at 18 pCi/l, a level six times the EPA maximum safety threshold. The same Hawaii sample also tested at19 pCi/l for Cesium-137, which has a half life of 30 years(http://www.naturalnews.com/031992_r…), and a shocking24 pCi/l for Cesium-134, which has a half life of just over two years (http://opendata.socrata.com/w/pkfj-…).

Why is this milk contamination significant? Milk, of course, typically represents the overall condition of the food chain because cows consume grass and are exposed to the same elements as food crops and water supplies. In other words, when cows’ milk starts testing positive for high levels of radioactive elements, this is indicative of radioactive contamination of the entire food supply.

And even with the milk samples, the EPA insanely says not to worry as its 3.0 pCi/l threshold is allegedly only for long-term exposure. But the sad fact of the matter is that the Fukushima situation is already a long-term situation. Not only does it appear that the Fukushima reactor cores are continuing to melt, since conditions at the plant have not gotten any better since the earthquake and tsunami, but many of the radioactive elements that have already been releasedin previous weeks have long half lives, and have spread halfway around the world.

The other problem with the EPA’s empty reassurances that radiation levels are too low to have a negative impact on humans is the fact that the agency does not even have an accurate grasp on the actual aggregate exposure to radiation from all sources (water, food, air, rain, etc.). When you combine perpetual exposure from multiple sources with just the figures that have already been released, there is a very real threat of serious harm as a result of exposure.

The EPA and other government agencies are constantly comparing Fukushima radiation to background and airplane radiation in an attempt to minimize the severity of exposure, even though these are two completely different kinds of radiation exposure.

 

No safe level of radiation from nuclear fallout

Background and airplane radiation is an external emitter of radiation, while Fukushima-induced radiation in food and water is an internal emitter. The former, which is considered “normal” radiation, hits your body from the outside, while the latter goes directly inside your body and into your digestive tract. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the immense difference between the two, and the much more severe consequences associated with literally ingesting radiation verses having it hit your skin.

In reality, there really is no safe level of radiation. No matter how many times the EPA and others repeat the lie that radiation levels are too low to have any significant impact,the statement itself is patently false. Many experts, including Jeff Patterson, DO, former President of Physicians for Social Responsibility, have stated that radiation exposure at any level is unsafe, and they are correct.

“There is no safe level of radionuclide exposure, whether from food, water or other sources. Period,” said Patterson. “Exposure to radionuclides, such as Iodine-131 and Cesium-137, increases the incidence of cancer. For this reason, every effort must be taken to minimize the radionuclide content in food and water.”

And now that radioactive levels in some areas have actually exceeded EPA maximums, Patterson’s statement is even more chilling. So while the mainstream media continues its near-total blackout on Fukushima, the situation is actually becoming more severe than it has ever been. Time will tell how severe the long-term effects of this disaster will be, but one thing is for sure –Fukushima radiation cannot and should not be taken lightly..

The scientists have successfully introduced human genes into 300 dairy cows to produce milk with the same properties as human breast milk.

Human milk contains high quantities of key nutrients that can help to boost the immune system of babies and reduce the risk of infections.

The scientists behind the research believe milk from herds of genetically modified cows could provide an alternative to human breast milk and formula milk for babies, which is often criticised as being an inferior substitute.

Every year, U.S. inspectors find illegal levels of antibiotics in hundreds of dairy cows.  As a result of concerns that the drugs might be contaminating milk Americans drink, the FDA had planned to begin tests on milk from farms whose cows were repeatedly shown to be tainted by drug residue.

However, the testing plan has encountered protest from the dairy industry, and the FDA postponed it.  The two sides are battling over the issue.

According to the New York Times:

“The FDA said that it would confer with the industry before deciding how to proceed … Regulators and veterinarians say that high levels of drugs can persist in an animal’s system because of misuse of medicines on the farm.”
