Biotech giant Syngenta has been criminally charged with denying knowledge that its genetically modified (GM) Bt corn kills livestock during a civil court case that ended in 2007 [1].

Syngenta’s Bt 176 corn variety expresses an insecticidal Bt toxin (Cry1Ab) derived from the bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) and a gene conferring resistance to glufosinate herbicides. EU cultivation of Bt 176 was discontinued in 2007. Similar varieties however, including Bt 11 sweet corn are currently cultivated for human and animal consumption in the EU. Vaccinated children have up to 500% more disease than unvaccinated children

(NaturalNews) Suspicions have been confirmed for those wary of vaccinating their children. A recent large study corroborates other independent study surveys comparing unvaccinated children to vaccinated children.

They all show that vaccinated children have two to five times more childhood diseases, illnesses, and allergies than unvaccinated children.

Originally, the recent still ongoing study compared unvaccinated children against a German national health survey conducted by KiGGS involving over 17,000 children up to age 19. This currently ongoing survey study was initiated by classical homoeopathist Andreas Bachmair.

However, the American connection for Bachmair’s study can be found at VaccineInjury.info website that has added a link for parents of vaccinated children to participate in the study. So far this ongoing survey has well over 11,000 respondents, mostly from the U.S.A. Other studies have surveyed smaller groups of families.

Nevertheless, the results were similar. Of course, none of these studies were picked up by the MSM (mainstream media). None were funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO) or any national or international health agency or medical profession group (http://healthimpactnews.com).

They don’t dare compare the health of unvaccinated children to vaccinated children objectively and risk disrupting their vaxmania (vaccination mania). The focus for all the studies was mostly on childhood illnesses occurring as the children matured.

Dramatic, debilitating, or lethal vaccine injuries were not the focus since so few, five percent or less, actually get reported to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Injury Reporting System) in the U.S.A. for various reasons including:

* It’s a complicated system that takes time from a doctor’s practice.
* Most parents don’t know about it.
* Only adverse reactions that occur immediately after vaccinations are considered.
* Since VAERS is voluntary, most doctors don’t want to incriminate themselves with vaccination injuries and maintain their denial of vaccine dangers.

Consequently, even the most terrible adverse reactions are minimally acknowledged, while long term negative health issues resulting from vaccines are not even considered relevant.

Different surveys summarized

The childhood diseases usually posed to respondents by the independent surveys involved asthma, reoccurring tonsillitis, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, allergies, eczema, ear infections, diabetes, sleep disorders, bedwetting, dyslexia, migraines, hyperactivity, ADD, epilepsy, depression, and slower development of speech or motor skills.

In 1992, a New Zealand group called the Immunization Awareness Society (IAS) surveyed 245 families with a total of 495 children. The children were divided with 226 vaccinated and 269 unvaccinated. Eighty-one families had both vaccinated and unvaccinated children.

The differences were dramatic, with unvaccinated children showing far less incidence of common childhood ailments than vaccinated children (http://www.vaccineinjury.info/images/stories/ias1992study.pdf).

From a different survey in the South Island New Zealand city of Christchurch, among children born during or after 1977, none of the unvaccinated children had asthma events where nearly 25% of the vaccinated children were treated for asthma by age 10 (http://www.vaccineinjury.info/images/stories/ias1992study.pdf).

Many of the comments from non-vaccinating parents to VaccineInjury.info for the ongoing Bachmair survey mentioned vaccination danger and developing true immunity naturally were concerns (http://www.vaccineinjury.info).

A PhD immunologist who wrote the book Vaccine Illusion, Dr. Tetyana Obukhanych, has gone against the dogma of her medical training and background. She asserts that true immunity to any disease is not conferred by vaccines. Exposure to the disease, whether contracted or not, does (http://www.vaccinationcouncil.org).

Perhaps the most informal grass-roots survey going on now is by Tim O’Shea, DC, author of Vaccination is Not Immunization. He simply has non-vaccinating parents email him with comparisons of their children’s health to friends and families they know with vaccinated children. Biotech and other emerging technology is jeopardizing the future of the human race.

In its latest effort, Fidelity Investments is aiming to drive billions of dollars of global finance capital into the emerging field of “synthetic biology”, using promotions and social media (as in its “Follow the Green Line” ad campaign) to raise interest. Fidelity is also trying to take on water shortage issues, “personalized medicine” and has partnered with the TED Talks (along with dozens of other firms) that have become a self-proclaimed authority on where technology is going. For Fidelity, it is part of an effort to bolster the firm’s image as responsible and innovative. But is it?

Just as big money has backed carbon credit schemes and green technology, Fidelity is making a push to back ‘synthetic biology,’ which it says could be the “defining technology of the 21st Century,” though admittedly it is still in the ‘experimental phase’. In essence, synthetic biology is just another buzz term for what has already become the very controversial and dangerous field of biotech & genetic engineering.

For example, scientists have shown that genetically-engineered salmon– hailed below in Fidelity’s promo video as a milestone in innovation– could wipe out the less aggressive natural salmon population within 40 generations. Fidelity also touts the use of GM bacteria to produce new malaria vaccines– part of the larger emerging field of “pharming,” or growing pharmaceutical products inside genetically-modified crops, animals, and microorganisms. For all its potential promises, GMOs have instead been linked with organ failure, infertility and reproductive problems, as well as widespread environmental impact.

Ignoring all these known risks, Fidelity’s ThinkBig webpage brags about their part in the attempt to redesign life with man-made architecture, claiming that labs could soon create 50 times the number of naturally-occurring species known to exist on the planet. And clearly that means big cash. GMO foods have been the first bounty of this technology, but the other applications are widespread, including energy, computing, organ replacements and much more. Fidelity boasts in part:

Synthetic Biologists collaborate around the world, using over 5,000 DNA sequences, called BioBricks™, now available online in an open-source database. Crowdsourcing the work means experiments that used to take years now take weeks, constantly redefining what’s possible.

Encouraging a race to create artificial life forms means less time in thinking out the potential consequences. The risks could well include endangering the survival of natural life (including humans), and would likely also prove costly for populations already vulnerable to market schemes.

Cross-species, xenotransplantation, human-animal hybrids and chimera creations all pose threats to DNA and organ receptors in ways scientists are only beginning to fully understand, while mixed genes open up new dangers of disease vulnerability between species previously not affected. This Brave New World of engineered creations, clearly, could pose instead a genetic armageddon. Alex Jones has repeatedly warned about the Trojan Horse bioweapon capabilities of much of this technology, as well as other widely used chemical compounds found throughout our food, water and environment.

Genetic Armageddon: Humanity’s Greatest Threat

Does this amount to “hacking biology” or what Alex Jones has often termed genetic vandalism? Thomas H. Murray, President of The Hastings Center gives a lecture discussing the ethical issues of creating new forms of life under the synthetic biology umbrella. This has been going on since the first recombinant DNA research began in the early 1970s, he indicates at some 13:40 minutes into the presentation. At least Murray considers the consequences, but in reality, the research field is moving forward with little concern for caution.

Apart from the risks to life itself, what finance capitol is funding is a new era of lucrative patent dominance in the realm of biology that will likely only embolden the existing oligopolies in Big Agra and Big Pharma, all while making the costs of staying alive greater to bear. “Intellectual property” issues are already plaguing traditional farmers in many parts of the world, as they clash with Monsanto’s seed monopoly. But this will also manifest in the future markets of human replacement organs grown in pigs, gene therapy, IVF and other assisted fertility, as well as many other areas. Already, claims of copyrighted human genes is occurring and impacting health care costs. Spider goats and human breast milk produced by cows are just some of the most widely publicized forms of this emerging technology front where natural sources are displaced by patented, costly and potentially dangerous GMO alternatives.

Meanwhile, the Transhumanist movement, today lead by iconic futurist Ray Kurzweil, is openly trying to re-engineer and replace the human species by merging individuals with technology– A.I., avatars, nano-tech, cloud-computing based memory banks and much more. The same science cultists who previously thought 96% of human DNA was “junk” are now playing god, assuming they can wield new life forms for human betterment. From it, the potential for financial & environmental harm, as well as predatory occupation from monopoly/oligopoly sectors is immense.

 

Obama Exercises Executive Privilege over Fast and Furious Documents

President Barack Obama has exerted executive privilege over documents related to the Fast & Furious gunrunning operation, stepping into the stand-off between Attorney General Eric Holder and House Oversight Chair Darrell Issa.

The Oversight Committee is demanding previously undisclosed documents about the DOJ’s response to Fast and Furious, a gunrunning operation in which U.S. agents allowed guns to “walk” across the border and into the hands of Mexico’s drug cartels.

Obama’s move today is surprising —this is the first time that he has invoked executive privilege — and comes on the same day that the Oversight Committee is set to vote on whether to hold Holder in contempt over the Department of Justice’s involvement in the botched operation.

SocGen: Gold Could Surge Over 500%

Societe Generale is “enthusiastic on gold” — so much so that in their latest cross-asset strategy report, they call “buy gold ahead of QE3″ their number one strategy, saying it’s “the perfect asset to benefit” from additional loose monetary policy.

In the report, SocGen discusses the historical relationship between the price of gold and the U.S. monetary base. The SocGen team writes that “if gold catches up with the increase in the monetary base since 1920 (as it did in the early 80s), its price would rise to USD 8500/Oz,” adding that just “to close the gap with the monetary base increase since July 2007, gold would have to rise to $1,900/oz, assuming full transmission from the monetary base increase to the gold price.”

‘We Are Preparing For Massive Civil War’ Says DHS Informant

In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.

“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”

Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed.

Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.

“The one source that we have I’ve known since 1979,” Hagmann continued. “He started out as a patrol officer and currently he is now working for a federal agency under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security; he’s in a position to know what policies are being initiated, what policies are being planned at this point, and he’s telling us right now—look, what you’re seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. We are preparing, we, meaning the government, we are preparing for a massive civil war in this country.”

“There’s no hyperbole here,” he added, echoing Trends Research Institute’s Founder Gerald Celente’s forecast of last year. Celente expects a collapse of the U.S. dollar and riots in America some time this year.

Since Celente’s ‘Civil War’ prediction of last year, executive orders NDAA and National Defense Resources Preparedness were signed into law by President Obama, which are both politically damaging actions taken by a sitting president.

And most recently, requests made by the DHS for the procurement of 450 million rounds of hollow-point ammunition only fuels speculation of an upcoming tragic event expected on American soil.

These major events, as shocking to the American people as they are, have taken place during an election year.

Escalating preparatory activities by the executive branch and DHS throughout the last decade—from the Patriot Act, to countless executive orders drafted to suspend (or strip) American civil liberties “are just the beginning” of the nightmare to come, Hagmann said.

He added, “It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country. It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources. But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’ This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.”

TruNews‘ Wiles asked Hagmann: who does the DHS expect to fight, in particular? Another North versus South, the Yankees against the Confederates? Hagmann stated the situation is far worse than a struggle between any two factions within the U.S.; it’s an anticipated nationwide emergency event centered on the nation’s currency.

“What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said. “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt. There’s going to be a period of hyperinflation . . . the dollar will be worthless . . . The economic collapse will be so severe, people won’t be ready for this.”

CISPA Passes with Fourth Amendment Busting Provisions

Sudden action on CISPA today signals that the House was instructed to pass the legislation despite overwhelming opposition. It was rushed to the floor a day early and quickly brought to a vote with additional amendments.

Alex Jones reports on the passage of CISPA. As of this writing, the corporate media has not bothered to post a video.

“Pushing the bill through is bad enough, but what’s worse are the amendments that Rep. Ben Quayle (R – AZ) managed to get added. These amendments make CISPA infinitely worse than it already was,” writes Game Politics.

The amendments converted the supposed “cybersecurity” bill into an outright Big Brother surveillance tool that completely nullifies Fourth Amendment protection online.

Previously, CISPA allowed the government to use information for “cybersecurity” or “national security” purposes. Those purposes have not been limited or removed. Instead, three more valid uses have been added: investigation and prosecution of cybersecurity crime, protection of individuals, and protection of children. Cybersecurity crime is defined as any crime involving network disruption or hacking, plus any violation of the CFAA.

Basically this means CISPA can no longer be called a cybersecurity bill at all. The government would be able to search information it collects under CISPA for the purposes of investigating American citizens with complete immunity from all privacy protections as long as they can claim someone committed a “cybersecurity crime”. Basically it says the 4th Amendment does not apply online, at all. Moreover, the government could do whatever it wants with the data as long as it can claim that someone was in danger of bodily harm, or that children were somehow threatened—again, notwithstanding absolutely any other law that would normally limit the government’s power.

Dirty tricks were used to pass CISPA. The legislation allows the national security state to circumvent the Constitution and allow carte blanche surveillance of the internet – from computer networks to private computers and devices to the emerging “internet of things.” Passage of CISPA is a milestone for the high-tech surveillance police state now going in place.

The traitors in Congress threw up a wilted fig leaf to cover their posteriors. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) said the bill was “needed to prepare for countries like Iran and North Korea so that they don’t do something catastrophic to our networks here in America,” Politico reports, while Speaker of the House John Boehner said the legislation will protect the economy and create jobs.

Rogers’ transparent excuse was is little more than a sick joke considering the fact the U.S. and Israel unleashed the Stuxnet virus on Iran’s computer network. North Korea is a convenient culprit and its ability to attack the United States is seriously in question, especially after another failure to put a satellite in orbit, something the former Soviet Union and the United States did over half a century ago.

Following the defeat of SOPA and PIPA earlier this year, Congress was told to sell CISPA as a bulwark against terrorism. Obama has promised to veto the bill but this remains to be seen and is likely yet another trick.

In December at the last moment Obama signed the NDAA after he said he would veto it. No doubt he will perform the same parlor trick with CISPA.

Call your representatives now and strongly voice your condemnation. Also call your senator and warn him or her that there will be serious repercussions if they vote this monstrosity into law.

PUS — or “somatic cells” — are the result of infection in dairy cows. These infections are caused by unsanitary dairy operating conditions that lead to infected mammary glands of cows. Pus cells are the same type of cells found in a pimple or “zit juice.” In 2011, the dairy industry debated lowering the allowable level of pus cells (somatic cells) to just 450,000 per ml, but it chose to keep the levels at 750,000, allowing for more infections and more pus in the pasteurized milk sold at grocery stores everywhere.

The Consumer Wellness Center (www.ConsumerWellness.org) has calculated that a typical “milk moustache” may contain as many as 2 million pus cells, meaning that all the celebrities, movie stars and sports stars who allow their images to be used by the processed dairy industry are quite literally showing their faces smeared with pus from dairy cow infections.

A look at the dairy industry, without the marketing spin

This non-commercial video, which also features undercover footage showing the brutal treatment of cows in factory-like conditions, is intended to shed light on the unsanitary practices of the conventional (pasteurized) dairy industry while contrasting that with the substantially cleaner and more humane practices of certified organic RAW dairy producers.

Dairy industry promotes fraudulent health claims

As this video shows, the conventional dairy industry is also making fraudulent health claims in its “got milk” ads, including falsely stating that drinking milk will give you “bones of steel.” A multitude of variations on this theme frequently appear in dairy industry ads.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, such claims automatically turn milk into an “unapproved drug,” meaning the FDA should now conduct armed raids of all conventional dairy producers, seize their inventory, and arrest their owners and operators to be charged with felony crimes for selling unapproved drugs. At least that’s how the FDA treats any other nutritional product that makes such strong claims of granting the human body near-magical health benefits. Try to sell an herbal product making the exact same claims and you’ll quickly find yourself threatened with arrest by the FTC or FDA. In fact, pasteurized dead milk has never been approved by the FDA as a treatment for fragile bones, so there is no legal basis under current FDA regulations by which the dairy industry could make a claim that drinking milk will increase your bone strength to the tensile strength of steel. Yet, to no one’s surprise, both the FDA and the FTC take no action whatsoever against the dairy industry for making these fraudulent health claims and selling what the FDA typically calls “unapproved drugs.”

In truth, calcium alone does not build strong bones, and pasteurized milk is not even the best source of calcium. The pasteurization of milk destroys its digestive enzymes such as lactase, causing the milk to be far more allergenic and difficult to digest, which may explain why so many people suffer from lactose intolerance, digestive disorders, sinus congestion and acne when consuming pasteurized milk products.

This Is The Study That Shows Why The US Economy Is Doomed

A Harvard Business School study that Niall Ferguson pointed us to today shows the U.S. has fallen severely behind in terms of international competitiveness.

The study, from January, found that for Harvard alums personally involved in a company relocation decision, 57 percent said the decision “involved the possibility of moving existing activities out of the U.S.”

Meanwhile, only 9 percent considered moving existing activities from another country into the U.S.

Chicago Man Shot 28 Times By Cops Sentenced To 40 Years In Prison

A 61-year-old Chicago man who was shot 28 times by Chicago police officers in 2005 — and lived to tell his side of the story — was sentenced Thursday to serve 40 years in prison, essentially a life sentence.

Howard Morgan, himself a former Chicago police officer, was sentenced on an attempted murder charge Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

NBC Chicago’s Michelle Relerford tweeted from the sentencing that Morgan said, “I am in God’s hands” as he awaited Judge Clayton J. Crane’s decision. The Rev. Jesse Jackson, according to Relerford, was also on hand at the scene.
